MOBILE, Ala. — The Coast Guard is responding to the crash of an T-6 Texan stunt plane in the vicinity of Miramar Beach, Fla.
Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a call at 12:45 p.m., Saturday, from the Walton County Sheriff's Office that the T-6 WWII stunt plane had gone down in the vicinity of Miramar Beach, Fla. Coast Guard Station Destin launched a 25-foot rescue boat and crew and Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans launched an MH-65C Dolphin rescue helicopter and crew. The Coast Guard Cutter Stingray is also enroute.
